Family: "Ask a Client"

Okay, so in the "Ask an Escort" thread, there's an interesting discussion about whether escorts have told their family that they are escorting. So here's a question in reverse: To clients, have you ever told your family (parents, siblings, spouse, kids) that you hire escorts? What about straight friends? And how do they react? Or is it always a big secret?

Ehhh...not to a huge degree. My "family" has an idea I travel sometimes to meet someone, and I think they figured out it probably involves sex at this point, but I don't think they realize it's with escorts. I've hinted it to one friend vaguely, so he may have an idea (but only after he opened up about having some friends who escort).

 

For the most part, I consider it none of people's business.

Since my entire family knows I'm gay, but prefer to not think about it, they shut out any kind of discussion of my life as a gay man, so of course I don't mention this part of my life.

 

EXCEPT for my soul mate in life, who is my younger sister who lives in SF. She is the first person in my family I came out to, and that was over 30 years ago. Her reaction to me hiring escorts, was that I support you in whatever makes you happy, because I love you. She was a topless dancer in DC and also an escort when she was younger and has given me a lot of advice on hiring escorts.

 

I could not imagine living in this world without her, and would never want to do so, as I have never loved/nor ever will love any one more than her.

We are 18 months apart in age, and have always been the best of buds from toddlers to this day!

My sister always wants to know all the details. Before she was married she told me way more than I ever wanted to hear about her escapades. She used to go to straight bath houses in the 80's in the Bay Area.

 

Now I can taunt her with pictures of the handsome escorts I have fun with. We've actually talked about setting something up for her and her husband with a bisexual escort.
