Judge Sedgwick's decision was short and sweet! And who says Arizona isn't a progressive state! There are celebratory rallies in Tucson and Phoenix this evening; it should be fun!

I found it refreshing that the judge did not order a stay on the grounds that an appeal would be unsuccessful. At this point, appealing a ruling is almost futile.

Yes; and our sleazy attorney general decided to accept the decision; he said he thought it would be a waste of taxpayer money; the celebration last night here in Tucson was great--some couples had already gotten married earlier in the day and one couple, who have been together for 50 years, said it was the first time that they had lived in a state that respected their relationship; the battle for marriage equality is really on a roll; but we have work to do in other areas--employment and housing discrimination has to be eliminated as well.
