"Truly brave" Cyndi Lauper and Sarah Bareilles video against pediatric cancer.

"...Seven years ago, "Today" co-host Hoda Kotb was diagnosed with breast cancer. She knows firsthand the struggles cancer patients go through and more than empathizes with the ones who must do so as children. So to acknowledge the strength of these kids, increase awareness of pediatric cancer and raise money for the American Cancer Society, Kotb created this collaborative project..."

Marylander, When I watched the video a couple of hrs ago, I had to wait to reply. Beautiful and touching as the tears rolled down my cheeks. I have been a nurse for 43 yrs. The last 14 yrs have been taking care of babies, infant, kids in their homes. Kids usually on ventilators. Of course serious respiratory and cardiac issues. One little guy I took care of had one of most serious cardiac anomalies on the planet. This is my point. When I make my annual donations, I look at a number of societies. Our hearts always go out to kids with cancer since it is easily identifiable in our hearts ,and minds. The American Cancer Society is one of those I donate to. There our others that I donate to. One is Vets with disabilities. But, thanks for posting. Beautiful video. I work 60 hrs a week, and have no interest in retiring.

I'm happy you felt that way because of this video, I've considered nurses unrecognized heroes/heroines! Keep the good work and your patience with us the impatient patients and know-it-all Doctors.
