Thanks, Marylander for this incredible, depressing and heart rendering video of a once proud city. And thanks to you BVB for that incredible story on what things are happening in Detroit to start a comeback. I have seen several stories like this recently and it reminds me of what New Orleans is doing to try and not only survive the effects of Hurricane Katrina, but to thrive going forward. The human spirit is remarkable and I hope that we live to see the day when Detroit is thriving once again.

A local DC escort just got back from Detroit and told me things are getting better, the city is definitively coming back to life!

If you have any chance visit and invest in the Motor city.

 

I used to live in the Detroit are in the mid '90s and it was a very scary place. But, in the past year, I've gone to Detroit to support a project that is help to revitalize the downtown area. I can't believe the change. In the '90s you didn't dare drive downtown after dark. But, on my recent trips, women were actually jogging in the downtown area at 5:00 a.m. Things are changing and the downtown is so much better now.
