Due Diligence before hiring

I'm sure everyone has their own method of checking out a guy before hiring, but here's one that might surprise some people. A fair number (5% to 10% maybe) of the escorts listed on men4rentnow also have their personal profiles on men4sexnow. I've discovered all sorts of tidbits like discrepancies between escorts' advertised age and their claimed age in their personal life, what their preferred sexual activities are, what types of guys they're into, etc.

 

But there's one red flag that I occasionally see. Men4sexnow gives the member a choice of answering, I prefer to have: safe sex only, unprotected/bareback sex, or no preference. It's interesting to see which guys choose either no preference or unprotected/bareback. x(

I've noticed the same thing over time, ncm. In addition to men4sexnow, you can occasionally find personal ads for well-known escorts, not posing as escorts, on other sites like adam4adam, m4m4sex, etc. Of course it goes without saying that escorts are, and should be free to seek pleasure from other guys who fit their particular preferences, but I have found a couple of times ads for well-known escorts who proclaim to be "turned on" by all kinds of guys, regardless of age or body type (emphasizing a "sexy attitude" is what turns them on), but on their "free" ads, have some rather disparaging remarks made in generalities about some types of guys: "no fats, fems, blacks, asians", etc. I even remember one escort in his free personal ad going so far to say, "you have to be hot, or don't bother, you're wasting my time and yours."

 

The barebacking reference can also be enlightening.

 

It might give one pause before hiring someone like that. Or maybe not. Some guys like to feel denigrated I suppose.

 

If I were an escort, I'm sure I'd be seeking personal comfort and excitement online from guys of my choice as well, but I'd probably find ways to describe what I'm looking for in a more positive way, realizing that potential clients also frequent the free sites as well.

I can understand a small amount of inconsistency (for example, when an escort turns 20, a few ads might not be changed from 19 for a while, etc.) However, too much of one can be a bit alarming, especially the bareback thing, though I've never noticed that one personally.

 

I have noted one guy who advertises on escort sites and free sites. He's e-mailed me a few times from the free site wanting to get together, but everytime he does, it's last-minute (with an hour's travel involved) and with NO real information about him besides very, very basic stats. I always respond the same way...that I'd prefer at least a little advanced notice even if just a day or several hours and some more information and communication before we meet (since anonymous meetings for sex can obviously be dangerous), and he consistently disappears for a while each time after that. *shrug*

 

I agree that it is important to note these differences...or just poor communication, and make choices based on those factores.

I too have noticed the discrepencies between an escort's AOL "working" profile and his "personal" profile (Men4SexNow, Adam4Adam, etc.). I even hired a well-known escort here in San Diego because his A4A profile was a turn on for me. BIG MISTAKE! I don't fault the escort because he obviously has different standards for regular hookups and clients but it was an expensive lesson well learned.
