"In a relatively little-known (read: terrible) movie called What Happens in Vegas, two strangers, played by Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher, get married after a boozy night in Sin City. During their hearing to get the marriage annulled, the judge declares, “Gay people aren’t ruining the sanctity of marriage, you people are,...."

The Sanctity of Marriage is dependent upon the two individuals who are married to each other sanctifying it.

Other than that, Marriage's sanctity has been missing for hundreds of years... Holy Matrimony is only Holy if you can keep it.

Uh, we straight folk have been ruining marriage fo' a minnit.........

T

It takes two (or sometimes 3, LOL!) people, gay, straight or asexual to ruin any relationship, including marriage. It takes two people working through problems and emotional stress to keep a relationship healthy! JMHO!!!

On the 10th anniversary of Massachusetts legalizing gay marriage, Rachel Maddow marked the occasion and ended with:

"Ten years after legalizing gay marriage nothing has collapsed, the sky didn't fall, and in fact the MA divorce rate is currently the lowest since before WWII. So in a way, gay marriage IS a defense of marriage act."

Ya know, I never understood that argument. How can allowing gay people to marry have any effect on hetero marriages?? I'm for allowing people to live their lives, gay, straight or anywhere in between.
