I recevied an email from a site promoting escorts somewhat like meetlocalmen or rentboy yet the url (name) really disturbed me, it is m4mescorts ... HooBoy has been ripped off a lot in recent months with many sites attempting the review format yet these people are ripping off his identity .

 

I send a call out to all members of the REAL m4mescorts site to boycott that site. Don't even click on it or visit it. Let's send them a message that it is not OK to rip off the identity of a well establish site!

 

Many you all know about this other site I just found out. Can't anyone come up with their own ideas anymore? At least their own fucking identity!

With all due respect, Huey, 3 comments:

 

First, alleging that the pairing of "m4m" and "escorts" is tantamount to stealing Hooboy's identity, IMHO, is like Bill O'Reilly and Fox News calling Al Franken a thief when he used the words, "Fair" and "Balanced." None of them are particularly proprietary terms.

 

Second, while the site only has 200 escorts listed, several of them are Reviewed on this site and also some of them regularly post on this Message Board.

 

Third, I saw some "new" guys there and I'll bet some of them will be Reviewed here. That means more Review copy for this site. I'm sure Hooboy wouldn't object to that.

I am certain HooBoy has more reviews than he knows that to do with. And I still feel that he can't be very happy about a site that uses his identity to attract visitors . That means potentially less visits to his site and that turns into less revenue for HooBoy.

 

If a first timer finds M4M instead of this site he won't know he isn't on the correct site and HooBoy has lost a customer due to minipulation of a url .

Huey, a google search for "m4m" yields over 58,000 sites. I hardly think Hooboy owns the term.

 

As for too many Reviews, what would this site be, if not for the Reviews? :*

P.S. A google search for "m4m escorts" yields over 7,080 sites. A search for "escorts m4m" yields over 7,640 sites.

 

Don't get me wrong here. I was one of the very first to jump all over guys4rent for blatantly plagiarizing Reviews from this site when they began their "Newest Reviews" feature. In fact, I posted excerpts from my email to and from them about the subject on this Board. :7

Ok I was courise about the new site so I went and checked it out. Over all the site is pretty good. The guys seeked the advice of Evan Teed who is really a knowledgeable person on web stuff. I even went as far as to post a profile cause hey you can never get too much exposer. I liked the fact that it let you post more then one picture and to view the other pictures you didn't need an avi. That is a huge plus in my book. I say let the guys see the goods without having to pay for a membership that they may not want. I don't see how the site is going to really compete with this one. By far I think that this is an excellent site. The message board allows potential clients to get a feel of a guys personality and thoughts and the same goes for us working guys to get a feel of the clients personality and thoughts on many different topics. I think that we really should be more supportive of websistes that allow us to advertise our services unless of course they are blantently ripping us off both client and escort. Well that is my two cents worth. Hope y'all are having a good Monday so far.
