Thanks. I would have thought "too good to be true" but it was a supposedly multiple-time poster on this site that recommended him, and he was a coverboy. I thought that meant he was the real thing.

Yeah, that thread started after I posted this.

 

I assumed that same thing... client who has submitted multiple reviews and says yes to Vlad matching his description, that he lived up to expectations, that he is recommended, that he would hire him again and then the review is all positive. And he's cover boy.

 

That's a lot of green lights and usually the entire criteria for the assumption that the kid is the real deal.
