My recollection of staying in LV is that many hotels restrict entry to guest floors and in some places you have to escort guests (and possibly have them be announced for this purpose).

This is true, but I know that accomplished Vegas escorts know how to get in and out of hotels unnoticed. :)

"I need only a few hour prior to meeting you at your hotel. For my own safty and consideration, be prepared to supply your full name and room your registered to."

Why been so complicated upfront? Misspelling is never a good sign either.

Your and you're for dummies!

Most escorts and masseurs require your name to phone you at your hotel to make sure you are actually staying in that room. Most hotels will not connect the call without at least your last name.

I think you're discussing two different things here:

1. Many Las Vegas hotels require their guests to show a room key to the security guard in order to access the elevators.

2. "For my own safty and consideration, be prepared to supply your full name and room your registered to" - most probably to call the reception and check if you're indeed staying in that given hotel and you're registered in that room.

Mr. Draker is right on target here. Upscale Vegas hotels sometimes require you to show a room key to access the elevators. No hotel requires you to give your full name to access an elevator, nor do they check guest registers before allowing elevator access.

I personally wouldn't give that information out to someone I have never met before. As another poster said, meet in the lobby and you can go up together. Even if the escort had this information, they would not be allowed access to the elevators. If the escort insists and you really want to meet him but maintain some privacy at the same time, ad a fake name as a second guest at check-in and give that out to the escort.
