London Hotels

I looked at older posts regarding London hotels and they were from a couple of years ago so I thought I would see if the recommendations remain the same. I will be traveling there in this October. I am looking for a place that is (?reasonable) in the 225 to 300 pound range. I would like it to be discreet and in a gay friendly area. If you would like to throw in restaurant recommendations (not exactly near the hotel) that would be greatly appreciated but certainly not necessary. Thanks.

I always stay at The Cavendish 81 Jermyn Street, St James's, London, SW1Y 6JF just off Piccadilly and within walking distance to the West End.

Rooms are small but comfortable. Location is A+
