It took me about 10 yrs to figure out what I wanted for a tattoo and I still am rather fond of it. I didn't get it because all of the hot guys have tattoos of tribal stuff, my tattoo is very different then most, I've only seen 3 or 4 people with similar characters inked on them. Most of the hot guys I don't find hot at all because of their higher then thou attitudes. My next tattoo is going to be a portrait piece I think on my forearm (I think. I haven't decided exactly where yet.) of my deceased grandma on my dads side who was a real kick ass lady.

Hugs,

Greg

Golly, a post I wrote 6 years ago has re-surfaced. Be careful what you say here, it never really goes away.

A cold shiver runs down my spine.

USUALLY I don't like tatts

I thought one of the worst trends in tatts were the barb wire bands around biceps that as the guys gets older or de-pumps become crooked.

Most tatts I see as body graffitti that disfigure and make no sense.

However, something like a TRIBAL TATT, on a man that it is culturally appropriate for, can be HOT.

EXAMPLE:

I know someone who has a spider's web tattooed on his right butt cheek (it covers the entire cheek) and it looks spectacular.

We may in essence be saying the same thing, but I kind of feel that the opposite may be true: they don't have the sense of change. I think most guys in their early 20's deep down don't understand that they won't always be young. They can picture their tattoo at their current age of 25, but cannot picture themselves (with their tattoo) at 45, 55, or 65. When I know a patient well enough to ask them ask them in their 50s if they're happy with their tattoo, there aren't too many who are still happy with the decision.

They don't have to be ugly!

The very best one, that I have ever seen was a faint impression of LIPS in lipstick red on a big bodybuilder's bubble butt. And that was all on whole muscled body's smooth silky skin. He had a great personality with common sense.

I enjoyed telling him what a GREAT tatoo he has, which I can't normally say!

Otherwise, When deciding on getting a 'tatoo or two' it is NOT best to be drunk or just out of your mind at the moment.

TATTOOS for a long time have been about "A Celebration of Something in One's Life". Be it Happy or Sad! MOST are related to in that way, REGRETS there are FEW in this day and age.

As far as AGE goes check out the AGE Range in Parlors these days! Alot Older than Year's Ago! ;-)
