Still a good place to go to cruise for escorts? Best times? Any escort bars now that Carousel has closed? Any other recommendations? Thanks for any info!

I am not aware of any escort "hustler bar" in Zurich. The Carousel was a fun place but, as you noted, is closed.

As hekili98 wrote, Paragonya was not so good the night he went.

It really depends on your expectations about Paragonya. While it is true the "escorts" ask for at least 100 francs, if you find one you like, that is not a bad price.

Some escorts found in Zurich are "out of touch" with foreigners in that some escorts think that all Americans are rich and should pay an escort more than the normal asking price. That is not so good.

The sauna is somewhat unique. It is in a business building and not identifiable from the outside. Once inside, the place is rather clean. The first floor is where most of the employees work and where the bar and sitting area is and where the lockers are.

First impression of the sauna is that it is filled with a bunch of arrogant client queens (hoch nariz) sitting around acting with self-importance. However, it is not for the clients that we visit the sauna.

Without exception, you will find escorts (upstairs) who are from various parts of the world. Many are Brazilians and many are from Asia. The Asians tend to be extremely effeminate while the Brazilians and others from South America and Eastern Europe tend to be the masculine type.

I usually went to the sauna after six in the evening in the summer time and around five in the winter. In my opinion, those were the best times to visit the sauna.

Just because hekili98 did not find anyone he liked, does not mean that all visitors to Paragonya will have a similar experience. As I wrote, it all depends on your expectations (and desires).

Bottom line, although I have visited Zurich many times in the past, I probably will not visit Zurich again in the near future because of the negative changes that I observed at Paragonya and the fact the the Carousel Bar is no longer in existence.

Spain is close by Zurich and it is much more fun and more predictable than is Zurich. Why not consider Barcelona or Madrid?
