So there is an Ad up in nearby Providence on Backpage with a hot guy whom I have seen pics of. His ad demands that you look at his webpage first, which in small print, in two sections, asks that you provide references and employment information, along with your home address.

 

Really now…who in their right mind is going to do that?! I don't mind giving a name of another escort to provide a reference, but this seems crazy.

Actually, I only mentioned that the "pics" belong to the model.

I do not think we know for sure (I strongly suspect not) that that is who you meet when you get there.

In this area there are a slew of ads that show up weekly in Backpage with a similar formatting.

 

Which leads me to believe that someone is running a "mill" of guys, from the Westin Residences there in Providence…as they all direct you there when you text. The Pics that are in the ads are all of public models…..many from various EU countries, advertising there…….it is unlikely that so many serious models are traveling to the Boston/Providence area for escort work. In this case they picked a local model. So no I do not feel I outed the escort….….I just mentioned that the pics in the ad belong to a specific model…and the public source of that information.

 

Edit: I do believe you are correct in the escorts motivation. I can't imagine that this will be a successful tactic though in the world of male escorting - heck, it is so easy to get free gay sex!...…..and frankly my straight hobbyists find less of that in the female provider world as the internet product availability increases competition. It seems like a bad strategy when those men who hire men find so many false identities and scams….they are not likely to put themselves out for personal damage or potential extortion attempts. But as in all cases…just move on…there are plenty of opportunities..
