I had emailed him to get together this past weekend. He emailed me back 3 days before giving me a time that "should work" and that he'll get back to me with hotel info. He didn't email me back after until 1am on the day we were supposed to get together. I asked him for another pic which he sent. But ultimately it just didn't feel right, and didn't see him. I don't have personal experience with meeting an escort from Planet Jockboys, but from reading the reviews of their guys over the years, they aren't scams. But there are a few caveats people using them need to keep in mind.

#1. Most of what I know is from when they 1st started advertising about 6 or 7 years ago. Not very many people have submitted reviews of their guys lately.

#2. Most of their guys are listed as straight. But a majority of them do seem to be versatile. So whether the 'straight' classification is real or just a marketing tool, who knows? A few of their guys are usually labeled as 'tops' only. And once in a blue moon they will have a guy listed as only performing massage.

#3. Someone recently mentioned here on the Forum that they had tried to meet with some Planet Jockboys guys and had been stood up 3 times.

#4. I think one of the guys who stood the Forum member up was Ryan Rose who is no longer on their site. And they represented Kellan/Willis for a short time, but recently had a disclaimer saying he wasnt working with them anymore even if he says he is.

#5. Their website isn't the best. They will keep up guys' pictures on the main page, and when you try to get their info- there is none. Also just in general, there site is clunky. They need to invest in a good web designer.

#6. I've tried them three times. They unfortunately are not always quick to respond and since you can only reach them by email, it's difficult to try something last minute. So that's what happened the 1st time. The second time their guy would only do out calls, but wouldn't meet at a local bath house which was the only place I could meet. The last time I tried them, I asked whether one of their guys could be versatile. They said they thought so. They contacted him. He said no. They got back with me, told me the escort's answer. But they also told me he hadn't been reliable, and took him off their website that same day.

#7. They've always been reasonably expensive-especially on hours after the first one and for overnights and weekends.

I have no idea why one escort jumped to the conclusion that their request that "payment is expected at the beginning of the appointment with your model" is a hustle -- they are an agency working as an intermediary with an escort. In many other countries, often when hiring through an agency the model/escort comes with a driver who delivers him to your hotel door and you pay HIM (the driver) and then the model enters. No hustle but a protection for the agency and model to get their fee.

 

Here in US I generally have the money out in a very conspicuous place so that the escort can easily see it on entry (no hide n seek or any games). Even if I know the guy and this is not the first meeting, I do this unless we are doing an overnight or something.

 

I agree that Planet Jockboys has to improve their skills if they want to continue moving forward. They have guys in 4 or 5 urban centers but across the country. That is a wide territory - maybe too wide! I know Dave in Man to Man has a concentration in only a few places and lets clients know when a guy is visiting their area. Jockboys has a limited listing of guys and so I imagine it is a very small organization. Some of their models also post ads on Rentboy and I find it easier to work with them more directly that way as you have a direct phone number.

 

I also understand Gman about the use of "straight" as being perhaps a marketing ploy - just for me it is not a plus but a minus. I used to prefer working only through an agency rather than contacting a guy directly (a sort of protection if the guy was a dud, a drunk, an addict or showed up completely ill-prepared, I could get my money back or at least some kind of compensation later), but agencies now seem to be a thing of the past, sadly.

The "versatility" has come up over and over again when it comes to Planetjockboy's models but DC is a "bottom" city, as long as he takes Viagra he won't have any issues in this town.
