I invite you to mark your calendars for March 29 and 30, 2014 for the 10th (can you believe it!:D) Annual Palm Springs Weekend. There will be a dinner on Saturday the 29th and a "pool event" at my rented condo in the afternoon of Sunday, the 30th. And probably another dinner after the “pool event”. Other activities may occur.;) More details will be announced as they become available.

I look forward to seeing everyone. Meanwhile, yawl have a great time in DC this weekend!:p

Apparently I didn't spend enough time in Mississippi this past summer ...;) or Mr. Banner was teaching me other things ...:o

Figured that was the problem -- but was too discreet to say so :).

I hope to attend again, and feel reasonably certain I will be there, although I may have to plan the details later than I would prefer. The nicer places may be booked up by the time I can commit. If anyone wants to shack up, let me know. ;-)

This should come as NO SURPRISE: I'm in!

Damn how time does fly!!!!! I’m already looking forward to seeing a lot of familiar faces and "old" friends as well as a lot of new faces and new friends. This will be my 9th year attending the Palm Springs Weekend and I wouldn't miss it for the world. Each year seems to be better than the last I am sure this year will be the best of all.

The information posted here is for newcomers who are looking for a hotel. The five hotels I am going to list are ALL gay resorts/hotels. My comments regarding each hotel are mine and mine alone and are definitely influenced by my age and by my personal tastes. I will list these hotels in alphabetical order. If you want more information regarding any or all of these places try http://www.tripadvisor.com as they are all listed there.

Casa Ocotillo:

A small, classy, clothing optional resort. The one drawback is that it is a bit out of the way. I have stayed here.

East Canyon Hotel & Spa

A very nice converted old motel, NOT clothing optional resort. Nice location. I have stayed here.

The Hacienda at Warm Springs

Drop dead gorgeous, clothing optional resort. The most expensive of the gay hotel/resorts. I have NOT stayed here but have visited on several occasions.

Helios

http://www.yourgayresort.com

Clothing option resort. Very popular with a number of the guys who attend the Palm Springs Weekend. I have NOT stayed here. It is a little too in your face for my taste.

INNdulge

1-760-327-1408

Clothing optional resort. Attractive motel type of building built around a large open courtyard. I have NOT stayed here but might consider doing so.

I hope this information helps and if I can be of any further assistance to those newcomers considering attending please feel free to drop me a line.

I have been waiting for this post for almost a year. I was not able to attend last year and kicked my ass about not going constantly. Well, this year I'm going to be there ready to make up for last year plus this year--just like the Doublemint Gum lyric "Double your PLEASURE. Double your FUN" Already booked a flight on American and I'm arriving early and staying late to get to better know guys from the past and get to know many of the new attendees. Major goal is the meet the newest Palm Spings attraction who gave up the Chicago cold for the warmth of PS.

So psyched!!!

If anyone is thinking of staying at Helios, please PM me...there have been some changes & "issues" there.

I'll be staying at The Canyon Club. (http://www.canyonclubhotel.com)

Just checked with Canyon Club and they are completely sold out for the weekend. I liked the site and the person who I talked with was extremely nice--that's always a good sign for me.

Wayne and I are definitely in! We love Canyon Club, it's a shame they're sold out. And kind of weird, since they have so many rooms. I checked All Worlds, and they have plenty of rooms available that weekend. Maybe we'll stay there instead.

As Oliver's designated ETC "Erotic Technical Consultant"...I am looking forward to my short trek to the other desert paradise of Palm Springs to enjoy the weekend. I'm sure it will be as festive as always! :)

Couldn't do it without him - he has sooo many talents!;)

I would certainly encourage anyone and everyone who can get to the Palm Springs Weekend to do so. Oliver is truly a great host (ably assisted by his fabulous Erotic Technical Consultant). And if you have never been to Palm Springs before, it truly is a remarkable place.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances at home, I will not be able to make it this year. I will miss you all and hope you all have an amazing time. This will be the first PS Weekend I've missed since joining the forum, so it will hurt being here while you are there, but as of now, I see no way I'll be able to make it.

I hope you all have a great time and I look forward to the reports. But for newbies who have never been, whatever you have to do, GO!!!!!!

So excited that I will be able to make it this year. Looking forward to meeting clients and fellow escorts. Tyger I'm finally going to meet you. Been way too long.

Lee so sorry to hear that you are not attending. You will have many reports I'm sure.

Oh… Boston Bill

Fasten your seat belt.

Now that is a phenomenal endorsement of Oliver and the Palm Springs event coming from the gentleman who is truly a SUPER HOST as so many guys know. I first met this amazing guy in March'11 in PS when we were both VIRGINS (to the event) and have always admired his many qualities--particularly, his kindness and TRUE FRIENDSHIP to all. I'll certainly miss him this year, but, hopefully things might change and he'll miraculously appear at Wangs in the Desert on Friday evening.

You guys who have never been should really try to attend. The event, like DC, is just so enjoyable, words don't do it justice!

Thank you for your gracious comments. Please do try to turn the circumstances around so you can attend. You and your partner will be sorely missed. And who is going to entertain with singing???:)
