Full Time vs. Part Time Escorts

Looking back on my first half year of hiring, I realize that all the guys I met in 2013 (and it wasn't all that many) had other careers (in finance, academia, etc.). There was no deliberate choice in that and I can't say it's a preference ... but I'm wondering if it IS a preference for anyone else? Or a detail of no concern to you? Or if, alternatively, some of you think that guys who are full-time escorts are (perhaps from more practice?) more "sexpert" at what they do? Just thinking out loud here and wondering about other perspectives on the subject.

I've never had a particular preference as to whether the escort worked part time or full-time as long as he was superb during the time that we were together. I've been with both. I've been with a variety of guys over these many years, and as long as they have been nonjudgmental, interactive, conversant, respectful, interactive, and met other physical attributes [criteria] and have been "into" the same things as I sexually-- I DON'T CARE about other factors!!

the guys I've met with range from working in a powerful position with a well-known DC lobbying outfit to being unemployed and playing video games at home a lot.....but all have been very good guys who are fun to hang out with....there are all kinds in every walk of life.....most important to me is that they have fun, know enough to be able to chat, and be comfortable with the whole scene.....

Most escorts that I know, even as azdr mentions "celebrity" escorts have other forms of employment. Whether that is for long term financial stability or just a sincere love for another business I couldn't say, but I have unfortunately talked to many long time escorts that did not hedge their bets with another occupation, and at the end of their career seemed a bit lost as to what they should do with the rest of their lives. Many early on realized that escorting wasn't for ever, and began venturing into other occupations that interested them.

 

For me I found no difference in the quality or professionalism that these escorts displayed whether they were full or part time in the business. Two of my favorite escorts of all time have lucrative jobs, where it limits their time escorting, but they were always attentive to my needs, and provided an outstanding experience.

I'm a part-time escort and for some reason always thought that having a pretty good job would deter some guys from hiring, so I usually play down my job as a service job rather than a technical profession. Few guys know what I do full time.

It's only a guess, but (at least with guys you see a second time or more), you might discover that they respect your ability to hold down a good job in a technical profession AND be a fellow who makes their dreams come true. Sounds impressive to me.

Exactly my thoughts. I have always admired a person who is a hard worker by holding down two jobs, and who has set goals for himself outside the area of escorting.

I like escorts who have a "road map", a plan for the future after escorting, whether they escort while having another job or focus on escorting really doesn't matter to me.

By count, most of my hires have been full-time pros, but my regulars are all part-timers. I identify with their struggles, and seeing them move forward with their lives keeps the experience fresh.

very good point.....not that the full-timers are "boring", but I seem less like a number with the part-time guys than with the busy full-time "celebrity" escorts who see a lot more clients because they are, obviously, "full time"......but I don't think escort quality is dependent on their particular full- or part-time status
