Hey guys,

Question:

I had a fellow escort ask me why I don't advertise an amazon wish list. I do have one, but it's more for things that I want to go back and buy myself later.

I notice some guys put it out there and expect/get things, but I don't know if that's something I'd do. The only person who I've sent it to was a client who asked me what I wanted for Christmas.

Thoughts? Have you purchased something for an escort off of a wish list just because? Do you have your own wish list?

I have a wish list, but I just keep it as a reminder list. Most of the time, if I really want something I just buy it then and there. I've never bought a working guy anything from a wish list. I just give $$! ;)

Amazon.ca have a very limited range of non-media items and most of the non-media offerings on amazon.com do not ship to Canada, or only ship at exorbitant cost, so I rarely use Amazon except to read their reviews before making purchases in person at stores.

This is an interesting thread. Once, I hired Robert Gonzalez (based in Chicago, visiting NY) as an escort. He is a beautiful man and I didn't mind paying top dollar for the session. Subsequently, he sent me a thank you note with - discreetly - a reference to his Amazon wish list. I was astonished to see the cost of some of the items on his list: $1,200 designer boots and the like. My question is: after paying top dollar for our session, which went well, why would I buy another expensive item for him? Is this to get 'preferential access' in case he is heavily booked? I just didn't get it.

And you don't need to. It's an option for those who want it, not a requirement for those who don't.

I suggest you send him back a thank you note with your Amazon wish list attached just in case he wanted to show his appreciation for you being a client.

Wow. Just wow. Really? The escort thinks that the rest of the human race sits around wondering what oh what gifts can I give this demigod I just met?? Even if a client had been seeing this Robert Gonzalez for a year, I'd still find it presumptuous for RB to send the client his Amazon wish list. Here's a little tip on social graces to all the escorts with Amazon wish lists: do NOT, under any circumstances, forward a client your Amazon wish list unless that particular client has mentioned that he wants to give you a gift but was unsure about what to get. By the way, the oft-discussed Simon Dexter used to very prominently display a link to his Amazon wish list on his website (OK, guilty! I used to check out his site 'cuz the boy is so damn purdy). The one item I remember was a Rolex Daytona, retail price $13,500. Yeah, Simon, I'll get right on that ...
