While I am not familiar with the artist you are citing here, I assume that it was taken from HB's personal message to the board? I thought HB's message was one of the most beautiful things that I have ever read! It really touched me in so many ways. :)

I loved the open, totally honest, purely naked beauty of the thoughts that were expressed. It truly moved me.

Yes, this is in reference to the quote at the bottom of the "Front Page" of this site. It's a lyric from "An Angel Stepped Down" by the Canadian artist Jane Siberry, to be found on her album "When I was a Boy,". She is certainly one of the finest singer-songwriters you'll never hear. Her songwork has always been too delicate and complicated to find a mass market in the US, although she had a few "pop"-ish hits in Canada.

But if you have a whimsical, melancholy streak in you, by all means seek her out. She's produced some of the most moving songs I've ever heard.

Thank you for the info Trixie. But now that I know who she is, I will DEFINITELY be hitting all the outlets to find her cds. Do you know of any internet sites where you can purchase her music? Don't give me free download sites, as I really think that is stealing from the artist, but then again on the other hand, at least you can find music by artists who never get any air play.

Describes me to a T. As I said above, I shall seek her out! :)

Oh, how I love to plug an artist whom I truly admire!! Ok, you can order CD's directly from Ms. Siberry at http://www.sheeba.ca Otherwise, a few of her CD's, including the above mentioned "When I was a Boy," should still be available in any well-stocked music store. As one who believes in supporting independent artists

(which is in some part why I hire escorts), I would suggest ordering directly from her. Each of her albums has a distinct personality, rather like Joni Mitchell. Try WIWAB first (ms. Siberry's "Court and Spark") If you fancy it, move on from there.

Hey Trixie, I will check it out and I will buy! Now how did you know that Joni Mitchell is one of my FAVORITE artists of all time? Are you saying that Ms. Sibery does a cover of Court and Spark and if so, she already sounds appealing.

Did you see the PBS American Artists show on Joni? It was FABULOUS, and I did not know that she had reunited with her daughter that she gave up for adoption in her early years.

Damn, now you have put me in a Joni state of mind, so forgive the rest:

"I'm going to blow this damn candle out"

"I want no one coming to my table, I got nothing to talk to anyone about"

"He told me I was the type that was most inclined"

"When out of his sight to be out of my mind"

Don't want to bore everyone by citing too many. But the absolutely most beautiful, imho, most hauntingly sung, soul torching of all:

"Oh, I wish I had a river I could skate away on" :) :)

THANKS, TRIXIE :)

It's at the very bottom of the Home Page (?). Or the page you get to after pressing "Let me in" on the adults-only warning page. You have to scroll down through the week's worth of Escort of the Day" pics, and site ads to the very end.
