Why you don't decorate a palm tree for Christmas

That was my first thought too.

 

A neighbor across the street has one that they planted ~15 years ago. It's somewhere around 30' tall. It would make an IMPRESSIVE display with this treatment.

Woke up this a.m. to a temperature in the Boston area 14 degrees warmer than Palm Springs. Now my problem is to get a decorated palm tree from PS with Dane Scott under it in a festive red bow in time for Christmas. Don't you really wish there was a Santa Claus?
