Pirates of the Caribbean

I know this subject has been covered already, but I just had a chance to go see the movie this evening and wanted to add my two cents.

Despite a few lulls, all in all I thought it was great fun. Johnn Depp made the movie with his character, I can only imagine that the strange half-swish, half-swagger mannerisms he bestowed on his pirate came right out of his mind and were written into the script.

It was also fun for me, a child of the Disney era, to play "Spot the References" to the PotC ride in Disneyland. The fireflies in the opening credits, the dog with the jail keys, the drunken pirate on a teetering keg, all can be seen on the ride. As well as "Yoho, Yoho, it's a pirate's life for me..."

I can think of a few escorts who could well benefit from Mr. Depp's flair for eyeliner as well! There's nothing unmasculine about mascara!
