Thanks to all who have RSVP'd here and to me privately so far. To say I am blown away would be the massive understatement of the year.

 

Blown away so much that I think I'm forced to make an announcement I've been sort of dreading and hoping I wouldn't have to make. But we are getting close enough that I think I don't have any choice, especially given the last minute rush tendencies in the last few years.

 

We are rapidly nearing capacity for the biggest room at Annie's and there is no other venue that would be available that would be able to accommodate us that I know of. The room can seat 50 plus another 8 or so at the bar. And we are at 50 right now. Once we get to 58, I can't guarantee that we'd be able to get any more into the luncheon unless we have no shows (we is always possible). So a couple of requests. If you are planning on going, let me know ASAP so you can get one of the last spots. But if you have confirmed and find out you can't go, please let me know so we can get others who may want to attend in.

 

This is nuts. The first year we were at 9. The second year at 21. Last year at 32. Now at 50 and climbing.

 

Of course you'd be welcome to socialize before and eat downstairs and the other events (bar hopping at Eagle, Ziegfelds/Secrets and karaoke at Green Lantern) are no limitations.

 

This is just crazy.

And so people have started arriving for the weekend. I will be in DC in about 12 hours. To all those traveling, be safe.

 

Three years ago today, January 17, 2011, 9 of us gathered for the first luncheon. Now six of us will have been to all four of the luncheons. So to the other original 5 -- NYTomcat, Countryboywny, ArVaGuy, Hoover42, and Legendary Dave -- thanks. This year we will be at 50 attendees. We never could have seen this coming.

 

So hope to see you all at DC Eagle tonight, our MAL shopping trip Saturday afternoon, Ziegfelds/Secrets Saturday night, at the luncheon on Sunday, or at karaoke at Green Lantern Sunday night. Travel safely everyone. And see you soon.

I'm extremely disappointed I won't be able to join the group this year, it looks like it will be a great group, and from being there the past two years, I know it will be a lot of fun. I held out hope to the end that I could work around schedule conflicts to make it again, but it wasn't in the cards. Have a great time, I will certainly miss not being there. Kudos to Lee for planning things again and for his creation of a new tradition.

I'm at the airport bout to head south. I appreciate Lee organizing the weekend, and inviting me to join in the preliminary events on Saturday. It was great to spend time with old friends, and make many new ones.....cap, countryboy, hoover, bart, arvaguy, and the professor. This forum is fortunate to have many quality people who participate in it. I especially appreciate all of the escorts for entertaining me in social, and.....ummmmm.......errrrr.....private situations. I look forward to our next gathering.

I'd like to reiterate Jawjateck's sentiments and add a few of my own. Lee, thank you for organizing such an incredible weekend. You did yeoman's work making all this possible for our community. It was a pleasure to see old friends and make new ones. This event demonstrates the unique community we have here on Daddy's forum. Thanks Daddy for keeping the servers working and managing this collection of characters on a daily basis. There's at least half a dozen escorts added to my to hire list for 2014. It's going to be a busy year!!
