Escort agencies are mostly a thing of the past. With the advent of the internet, most escorts advertise independently and without the need of a go-between. I wouldn't mind dealing with an "agency" if there was one that dealt with very high-end guys that are not accessible to the general public....but I have not found one. Kind of like the Heidi Fleiss of male escorts. Does this exist?

 

Are you talking about porn stars and models or just really hot guys, like a male version of the Emperor's Club?

 

If I were a hard to get escort, I'd definitely want to cut out the middleman. After all, 20% commission is much larger for a hard to get guy than for a regular escort. And I'd feel like my existing clients would vet more carefully than an agent, since the clients don't get a big commission.

 

My suggestion to them would be: split your business into 2 agencies: one for male, one for female clients. As a male client, I get 'annoyed' seeing a profile of a hot guy who is available to female clients only. I am also ambivalent about hiring a guy who is available to male and female clients. I don't know how female clients feel about hiring a guy who is also available to men. What you are selling is an illusion. Don't blur it. Just my 2 cents.

 

The problem is that, from what I understand, the female client base is tiny, which is why you see so many gay for pay escorts. I'm guessing the guys who think they can make any kind of reliable money from servicing female clients are likely delusional newbies.

If you talk to Dave at Man to Man, you will find him very reliable, an excellent source of detailed information about the guys he represents and someone whom you can trust to give you "straight" (no pun intended) information... He only represents guys who are reliable.

There are still some agency type places in Europe. There's one in Dusseldorf called City Boys (http://www.cityboys.eu) that I visited last year. They have a little townhouse set up where you can see the boys. Most of them seem to be Czech. I met two different guys, one after the other in an afternoon. Very hot boys and the fee was quite reasonable as I recall. I was crazy horny after spending two weeks around all of those cute German boys and spending a lot of time drooling over guys on GayRomeo. So crazy that I took the train from Mainz to Dusseldorf and back in one day just to meet these guys. I think there are still other such agencies elsewhere in Germany. There are some big listing websites in the UK but I'm not sure if any of them are true agencies or if they are just websites full of free-lancers.

 

In a lot of ways the "massage" shops all over Asia are basically houses of boys. You go and pick your guy either from a line up or from photos. Some are better at massage than others. And the happy ending part is more happy in some places than others as well. I've been to these places in Thailand (Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pattaya), Taiwan (Taipei), Hong Kong. And I know they exist in lots of other places as well. Japan seems to have agencies with clubs. And I am pretty sure that South Korea has them as well.
