Hey guys I will be In Toronto for the first time in November and looking for some travel tips. I will be staying at the Marriott Bloor Yorkville hotel for a week. Any suggestion would be appreciated!

some other things to do: hockey hall of fame , CN tower, dumpling house restaurant in china town, i was there in April it was very chilly I would guess it will be so in November too. There's the Eaton Centre mall too which is connected below ground to a lot of places. Dundas Square by the mall was very busy/active. Lot's of people watching, street artists, etc.

It's an awesome city. I've been there at all times of the year. November might be cold and it might be quite mild. You never know.

I haven't been up there in a few years, but the suggestions above are good. If you like hockey then try to get to a Leafs game.

Bloor/Yorkville is not my favorite part of town. But the subway gets you anywhere you want to go fairly quickly and easily.

The Royal Ontario Museum has a nice collection. The Art Gallery of Ontario is quite good as well. The Bata Shoe Museum is a little more offbeat.

Queen St W has some neat shops and restaurants.

Last time I was there I was struck by how many more Asians seemed to be there. For a rice queen like me it was great.

I'll be interested to hear how Remington's is doing these days. I used to LOVE that place. I dropped a lot of money there over the years in the second half of the 90s especially which seemed to be its heyday. Back in those days the exchange rate was crazily in our favor and airfares were really cheap. I used to go for long weekends a few times per year.
