Montreal (the week after)

In town this weekend, but clearly should have been here last weekend. But flights and hotels were far less, so we went the budget route. I don't know if last weekend would've been terribly different, but this has been kind of a lackluster trip. Got into town Thursday and saw them taking the poles down along St. Catherine Street. Soon after the cars were back and pedestrians were back on the sidewalk. There have been better and worse lineups at the clubs on previous trips... mediocre just pretty much sums up this weekend.

 

Campus - C+

No new stunning guys this trip. Couple cute younger guys I remember from previous trips - Alexi the Russian and Zoa (aka Don Sparks on videoboys) are still on the roster. The star of Campus is a standout I met last time - a blond Irish guy named Liam. Just pretty much perfect... blond hair, toned but not overly built (think Ryan Phillippe in 54), great dancer, super personality, about 22 or 23 years old I'd guess. There are still no curtains and doesn't sound like they're coming back anytime soon. So until then Fort Lauderdale is probably going to be my top choice. I used to visit the cities evenly - but I think it'll be 3 Florida trips for every Montreal one until things change.

Stock - C

Still the most beautiful club, but we like college age guys that aren't ripped. Usually Stock has a couple guys that can keep us long enough for a drink, but not this trip. For the muscle lovers, this place delivers though.

 

JP - closed... and all the building artwork has been painted over white. One dancer we talked to said Adonis' previous management may open up another gay strip club soon.

Taboo - C+

This place continues to squeak by. There are trips where the roster has been filled with 10s and trips where you wonder how they stay in business. They're sliding by in the middle right now. There are 1 or 2 hotties, but not enough to warrant spending money on airfare anytime soon. There seems to be a growing number of non-dancing guys working the room. If I was a dancer, I'd get irritated. There were 3 or 4 knockouts hanging out with older guys. None are on escort sites that I can see. The private dance area now has a spotter just like Boardwalk... plus there are no curtains and its brightly lit like an office. So again... forget it. The term private dance is a contradiction in terms. Even at $10 a song, why bother? I opted for hotel fun. Hired one dancer and had plenty of luck on Grind'r.

 

It's been a fun trip, but nothing overwhelming. Fortunately this airfare was a freebie for me and my bud and I split the hotel. But with winter approaching, there's not going to another trip back until next summer.
