What to do if you're an escort and you know another escort is unstable?

Obviously escorts cannot review each other for a variety of reasons; however, I know of a well-reviewed escort who is bat shit crazy. He intimidates people into not posting bad reviews about him, and he is harassing me on my email. Through intense paranoia he has invented some bullshit story about me being involved with an appointment of his that went poorly. I didn't even know there was a problem until he started ranting at me out of the blue. I have texted with the mutual client in question who told me the escort and he apologized to each other a week ago, and no bad review is going to be submitted. So why is the guy sending me email still about something that is supposedly irrelevant?? He just sent me some faked "legal" email from "his lawyer" about ceasing and desisting with emailing him, but he's the one contacting me! I was content to never remember he exists, but he is reinserting his insanity into my life (and he always has been a loony bird, despite his good reviews). He's unstable, and his messages read like unmedicated ranting. The dude is fucked up. For real. He isn't competition, we don't live near each other, and the only reason we have clients in common is because it's a small gay world. So... since he has no influence on my world otherwise, what the hell do I do??? Ignoring him didn't work!

As difficult as it seems *DO NOTHING*.

I am not a psychiatrist. I do have a bit of personal experience with other's mental issues.

The first major relationship I had ended when the fellow became clinically paranoid to the degree of psychosis (as described by a mutual

musician friend who *was* a shrink employed by the city and count of San Francisco); my ex moved in with his parents (In chicago)

eventually did go on medication and seems to have gotten on with his life.

My sister's oldest soon also has clinical problems which are only managed by medication.

*Do not respond* to the guys emails, but save them. Clever crazy people have a way of making them especially painful to read.

So long as he is not near, you do nothing.

If he comes to the same city, and you believe that he is a credible threat to your safety, then go to the police. (That's why you saved the emails)

After a while, and it may be a *long* while, (so long as you do absolutely nothing), he will find eventually find another target that will ofter him greater stimulation as a consequence of his efforts.

You have my total sad empathy in this situation.

+1 for do nothing, especially on this board. Giving negative information about another escort here is the quick path to being dumped on yourself. We've all seen it happen too many times and it isn't pretty.

What you might want to do is watch for any messages/questions that arise related to the guy and to then send the individual a PM explaining what's been happening to you. Other than that, just keep quiet.
