I hope that by 'hookups' he's referring to freebies and not to questions that a client (naturally) may have regarding particulars of the services he offers.

I think it seems clear from the context that he is trying to communicate that his ad is a commercial ad, not a personals ad. He's available for a fee, not for dating.
