So, here I am in Charlotte, an easy drive to Raleigh. I would love to add Raleigh to my itinerary, since it's so close (and since Atlanta is such a waste of time, generally speaking [i can say this, since I was born there]); however, the few times I have run an ad for Raleigh nothing comes from it. Perhaps not now, but for years there were far more guys advertising in Raleigh than in Charlotte (and the guys who were there in the past ended up developing a very good roster of reviews), so I have always presumed I am not to clients' taste in Raleigh, and I have never bothered to go.

My question is this: Do you escorts who have been to Raleigh find that it is a place you simply have to jump into without a preset itinerary (and thus I potentially could have been okay showing up without plans), or do the clients there book in advance (in which case I am correct in presuming that I am not en vogue for that area)?

Wait a minute...let's backtrack. All the way back. Way in the back...

So me who drove over 3,000 miles round trip from Denver to see Raleigh a couple of months ago, has checked it out before someone who lives less than 200 miles away? How does that happen?

I'm not trying to be a smart ass, really. But I would kill (or maybe just move) to be able to drive less than 200 miles to be in another big city that even appeared to have potential...and would do it with little hesistation. 2 hours takes me in the middle of a corn field or just over the next summit, In 10 hours you might can make it to Vegas if you speed and don't stop, assuming it's not winter time, in which you can expect it to take a day and a half. There's not much to lose in a couple hours, except maybe a tank of gas and 1 or 2 nights hotel. Which yes, is a loss...but you can make it there and back home within an afternoon. That's assuming worst-case scenario of course.

So if you feel like going, check it out. When I lived in Tejas, my first trip to Houston was sadly disappointing and it was only 3 hrs away, but it still felt like a waste. But I was barely even started up back then. Subsequent visits turnt out better, but never really enough to make it my hit list. But, atleast you can just say you did it.

(and since Atlanta is such a waste of time, generally speaking [i can say this, since I was born there]);

You're right on that one...Atlanta was a total waste. Lesson learned. For now, I prefer to just enjoy it from a distance watching Love and Hip hop Atlanta.

I believe Dane Michaels of Raleigh recently came back to the scene after being retired for a period. I am sure if you PM'd him, he would give you the straight scoop. Real nice guy and very easy on the eyes. I used to be in Raleigh each spring for a week for dog shows and there was really no action in the area then.

You might also check with Zach Wilson, if he doesn't respond here. Dane seems to be doing a lot of traveling these days (but he might still have some insight).

As a client, I used to try to make appointments with traveling guys in advance, but I'm reluctant to do it now because 1) I found that a significant number of traveling guys changed their minds & never arrived; 2) recently, family obligations often curtail my opportunities at the last minute.

Devon, Usually it is best to post an ad before coming up or it may be a total bust as I have heard from other guys. The market here in raleigh is good but a lot of the people I see are mainly traveling through on business. It would be great to meet you if you ever get this way be sure to shoot me a text message. It is a lot of regulars here. When I first started there were a lot more responses. Now usually its traveling. Honestly Raleigh is more than likely comparable to Charlotte. hope this helps. xoxo zach

It was simply one of the trips that was on my to-do list...and I've never seen the smokys before. Plus Ace Banner's fine ass was there at that time, I was extra motivated lol.

I am based out of Raleigh and tend to stay relatively busy. I have a few regulars in the general area, but usually, as Zach stated, the clients are coming through on business. I don't have very many that are right here in town, but a few regulars (and sometimes even brand new clients) will come here if they're that serious about booking me. You could possibly situate yourself in a hotel by the airport. RDU is prime retail for business, as it is about an even 15 minute drive from Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Research Park, AND Chapel Hill. Overall, Raleigh is okay, but the majority of my "Raleigh" appointments are outcalls to RDU or other cities surrounding the area. I started out advertising as a bodywork partner to a female companion (she would offer massages done by her assistant before or after her appointments to relax them). Only been working with companionship for about a month now, but I've generated a fairly good amount of volume here. And you're cute as hell, so just post up by the airport and you should be just fine.

Hope I helped! :-)
