Billy Magnussen

In case you're in NYC (living there or visiting soon), I saw the play Vanya and Sonya and Masha and Spike this past weekend. Billy Magnussen plays Spike. Its just my opinion, but Billy is a talented actor and he's very enjoyable to watch. He strips down to just shorts several times and, for me at least, it was hard to look anywhere (or at anyone) else when he's on stage. In one of the scenes he's wet, having just returned from a swim, and I'd be willing to bet even straight men in the audience were in awe. I've seen his nude scene on whatever that pay tv mobster show was (most you saw was his butt). I did find the play funny and David Hyde Pierce is terrific.

 

If you haven't seen it, I recommend it. Sure to see Billy but I thought the play overall was worth it.

By far the best thing about the show. Thankfully, I saw it off-Broadway at Lincoln Center, in the second row. Billy offered quite an eyeful
