So one day i was feeling lonely and horny and decided to try out the body workstation in Hell's Kitchen around 9th ave and 48th.

Was greeted by a very good-looking tall russian guy who quoted a rate of 75 for the hour. The rooms were nice and private. The massage

started with me on my stomach and a towel on my butt. The massage was actually quite good and thorough. After about 45 minutes, the towel almost came off, but the guy kept massaging the back and legs. My expectations were building...and i was dying to turn over... but at the 55 minute mark, the guy abruptly walked off, came back with a hot towel and wiped me off and announced that the massage was over !!

I never got to face him during the entire session.. let alone attempt any happy endings.. Is this "one-sided" massage experience the norm ? Or is this a Russian thing coz the asian joints sure massage both sides and attempt something sensual from what i have read...

I don't think it's a Russian or Asian or Polish or Jewish or Indian or Italian "thing." I think you happened upon a legitimate massage spa who could lose its license if the masseurs were caught fooling around. By looking on M4M or Masseurfinder and another $25, you could have gotten an erotic massage, happy ending, and perhaps even fucked. (I did, for $100 in my apartment on Tuesday.)

Actually, Bodywork Station is quite well known for the "extras." I'd say about half of the masseurs there (both HK and Chelsea) provide a happy ending. You just got the glass half empty. :-(

I use to get massages at the Bodywork Stations all the time and for the most part have always been legit. Been to numerous locations with a few different guys and only received extras from one of the asian masseurs years ago and it came as a complete surprise. Some were a bit sensual but other than that just decent massages from good looking guys which was always fine for me. Plus the prices were pretty good. If anyone recommends anyone let me know.

I agree. I always start out with the idea of an erotic massage. It's something particular that I like. An the anticipation of what might happen is part of the process at least for me. I think the issue here may be if you are looking for a sexual experience, why hire a masseur instead of an escort... Is it based on price point only? If so, it seems like most of the massage experience would be devoted to wondering what will or will not happen, instead of settling into enjoying the massage for what it is... (Which, at least to me, would make the massage less relaxing and therapeutic than it could be.)

Totally hit or miss there. They have an odd policy of requiring paying upfront (and the price went up recently). Masseurs are generally inexperienced, but I had one pretty decent massage there. Most have tried to up sell, but none have been aggressive about it. It’s a place where I sometimes go at last minute, but now that the price is like $90 or something for an hour, it doesn’t seem worth it when you add a decent tip, you’re getting close to $200 for a mediocre experience. So I probably won’t go back.
