Arrow Season 1 final (spoiler alert)

Watched the finale this morning and have to admit I was stunned. They killed off one of the lead characters (Tommy) played by hot Colin Donnell. Surprising for a number of reasons not the least of which is that in the comics he becomes Arrow's arch nemsis after their friendship goes south so it was really surprising to see him killed off although they did it in amazing fashion with a bromance farewell that I suspect will be long remembered by fans of the show (boy that was a long sentence). Excellent end to the season. Now, apparently Colton Haynes is promising to put on "20 lbs" of muscle so he can get ready for his training next season by his idol Arrow. Now, that should be something to see!

Tommy's father is Merlyn, his arch-nemesis, in the TV series, I assume. The writers have demonstrated they're no bound by comics continuity necessarily.

 

Of course, I haven't read the 52 re-boot.

He was one of the main villains of the season but he's done as well, killed off at the end of Season 1.

I wasn't sure he was dead, since Oliver told Tommy he DIDN'T kill his father, but I just read an interview with the writers in which they state he did indeed die.

Colton Haynes ( sounds like a 20's Silent Movie Star) puts on 20 lbs of Muscle and I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up the STAR of a Spinoff Series.. The guy was a shirtless Hunk on Teen Wolf until they turned him into a Lizard Boy!

So far, he hasn't shown much personality on ARROW but we will see. His eyebrows remind me of Joan Crawford in QUEEN BEE! He is quite a looker.

Taking off the Shirt's and Breathing Heavily has ALWAYS worked for me!

I'm not complaining. If that's all he does, that would be fine with me .... but he needs a little bit more weight first!
