A recommendation for a gay bar, very centrally located

 

I have been to London several times in the last year and have been visiting gay London since the early 1970s. I miss the old Chelsea pubs like the Colherne and the Boltons (closed), but recently discovered Halfway II Heaven, 7 Duncannon Street, London just off Trafalgar Sq and directly opposite St. Martin’s in the Fields. I am not normally a fan of Karaoke, but the way these folks sing and entertain (in drag), well, …. Sundays only for the show, afternoon into the late evening. I stopped in for a drink and rolled out stinking drunk six hours later. It was a great time.
