Theater buffs will recognize the latter name as the actor who plays Darrren Lemming in Take Me Out, nominated for a Tony. Of course, Benjamin is the former star of Julia Roberts' bedroom!!

Anyway, tonight I watched Bratt perform in "Intrigue With Fay", a new play off-Broadway. Given that it has been suggested that Bratt is a physical specimen in comparison with my favorite Gaiety dancer, I watched closely to verify for myself. Sadly, he is not. He is a skinny guy with low body fat and some muscle, but he definitely needs some sleep! Sunjata has a more youthful look and is trying to play a studly athlete.

Truthfully, neither one gives me much of a sexual charge. When Sunjata was on Sex and the City, he really gave me a jolt. But his theater performance is of a very arrogant character, so I had little interest, even though I could have reached right out and stroked his low hangers.

Bratt doesn't even so much as take his shirt off in the new play, but his acting makes you forget that. He gives a very good performance as a man trying to find the bounds of honesty in his relationship with his girlfriend, played by Julianna Marguelis. Bratt is so comfortable in his body that he should be giving acting lessons to Daniel.

The Bratt play is something that many of us would appreciate for the way we relate to people close in our own lives. Many of the lines you have heard or said to your best friend or partner. See it with someone you love! I did!

Mr. Sunjata, incidentally, was interviewed for the NY Times yesterday and says this about playing a gay character:

"I'm somebody who, although he happens to be straight, has no qualms about portraying a character who follows an alternative lifestyle." Does he mean "gay?" Is that what we are, people following an "alternative" lifestyle? It was not much of an alternative for me!!!

Mr. Sunjata is 31 and single.

I liked Daniel Sunjata's performance much more than you did. As a hugh baseball fan, I can understand how his character would know nothing but good fortune and expect the same when he came out. Many

baseball players are such idols that they lead very restricked lives, that's why Denis O'Hare is so appealing to Sunjata.

On an entirely different note, I saw "Long Day's Journey into Night"

on Sunday, the day after Vanessa Redgrave's mom's death. Redgrave's understudy, Pamela Peyton-Wright was wonderful, but would love to see Redgrave's take on the role. Is it worth another $100 (it is one of the most difficult tickets in NY, so the question may not need to be answered). I would appreciate any feedback.
