$15,000? Hardly enough to worry about if you're a multi-millionaire. The third date - a weekend in Paris - will cost more than that!

Private jet, suite at the Georges V, lunch at L'Arpege, dinner at Pierre Gagnaire, a couple of bottles of wine... it adds up.

Sweet potato pie and hush my mouth! $15,000 "platinum membership" required by the League of Gay Millionaires to find my "ideal partner".

I'd be really careful about any of these expensive matchmaking services unless you've seen multiple success stories with your own eyes. Most of the young men you're looking for are online. While that may require a great deal of weeding, the other alternative is to pay a huge sum without any kind of guarantee. Even dating services that offer guarantees often make it difficult and humiliating to get one's money back.

But he promised he was a power bottom!

Lookin, I laughed out loud when I saw that. What movie is that from?

The basis for my statement: My college BF used a dating service, which promised to connect him with women he'd be attracted to and didn't. When he asked for a refund (per their policy) or at least better matches, he was told that the attractive women were rejecting him because he was balding. He was not an unattractive guy, so I'm sure they had an excuse for everyone.
