I am going to go incognito as a hawk!:)

It is an area I have never been to, but I may have to go for an event. Surely some southern hunk would like to shove it up my Yankee canal?

I don't know about their popularity, but my outdated (actually, it's just from 2002) copy of Damron lists Legends at 330 W. Hargett St, and Flex at 2 S. West St, both in Raleigh. Here are their web sites:

Having lived there for a while I offer the following observations.

Legends is a dance bar.

Capital Coral is more of a neighborhood bar.

Flex is a levi/leather (a small amount of leather) bar.

All are within a three block period in downtown Raleigh.

Bookstore called OUR Place is across the street from Legends and is quite nasty......both in terms of the activities (smile) and the cleanliness (frown).

There are a few good escorts there and advertise on Rentboy or Americanmale.net.

Charlotte is a much bigger, progressive and diverse city...Raleigh is a throw back and reminds me of Richmond Virginia...a nice place to be a heterosexual breeder.

LMAO! There must be something about Wednesdays as I've been laughing at these postings on all threads tonight. But seriously that soldier guy Brad in NC sure looks good and has good reviews. One of these days I'm going to try to book him and drive down there to see him. I know you prefer Asians and Latinos but man that guy sounds real good. Have fun, and if you do any driving, don't speed as they take that real SERIOUSLY in the Carolinas! :)

Hey watch that dude! :) But seriously I have to agree! Even though it is our capital city, it is one of the ugliest, boringiest, most repressive places I've ever had the displeasure to experience. Christ, the Yankees couldn't have burned it totally out of existence during the Civil War???? Man why did they leave the job only half done? :)

Thanks for the info, guys. I see Raleigh is the home town of American Idol runner-up Clay Aiken. I will probably run into him at the bar, doncha think?

Well, I never made it to the bars. After a full day in Raleigh, I realized that this is the straightest place I have ever been since I left the seminary! So I said my prayers and went to bed early!
