Tiger from the gaiety

Does anyone remember Tiger who was the last one to dance at the Gaiety? I wonder where he is now? He was very good-looking and very pleasant.

Even though I wasn't what you'd call a "regular" at the Gaiety, I was disappointed I didn't get to go for "one last show" before it closed. It holds an oddly sentimental place in my memories as it was the only outlet I had when I first moved to NY and hadn't really come out yet. It was nice just to be in a room full of other guys and look at hot guys without being self-conscious of getting caught.

 

TJ/Scott Anthony seems like the only guy that is still floating around - all the others seem to have gone on with their lives in anonymity of their dancing pasts. Fortunately for me, he was always one of my favorites.

 

Now, if I could figure out what happened to Austen...I recall he was in some reality show, but for the life of me, cannot remember which one.

Austin (Canadian Austin if that's who you're referring to) committed suicide in Las Vegas over 5 years or so ago. And yes he was in a short-lived reality series.

The reality show he was on was titled "Mr. Romance" and was shown on Oxygen Network.

I was thinking of Canadian Austin. Sad that he committed suicide. I realize there is a circular, chicken-and-egg problem with escorts and other folks who do porn, but it always bothers me that I might somehow be contributing to their unhappiness.

 

Side question, how do you know he committed suicide, so many of these guys simply vanish back into anonymity.

Gaiety Danced into Strip History in what 2005 ? As was said TJ Anthony is the only remaining Stripper to"Work It" under his original Stage Name..when he advertises which is not all the time.

 

His recent Pix's on Muscle Service show he has definitely LASTED the test of time! He and another Big Hunk Nick/German who did a very short gig there also.

Actually Austin's death was very sad, but unfortunately not a total surprise to those who knew him well. He hung himself in a motel room in Las Vegas about 2 weeks before Christmas in 2006.
