I live in Hong Kong, and hire regularly off of gayhk.com. The guys are mostly from China and few speak English, but some do. MANY of the pics are Photoshopped. Some of the guys are fun, and some are scam artists. A few are working for pimps- stay away from the young ones (under 25), and check all the ads for reused pics. Some may send you into a room with someone other than who you expect to meet. Just like customer service generally in this part of the world, it's hit & miss. If you're looking to get fucked and don't mind a dick that is much smaller than advertized, you'll do well. If you're looking for a bottom or a guy with donkey parts, caveat emptor.

 

Joe at http://www.hkbodyspa.com/photo.asp in Hong Kong will set you up with a nice HK guy, but he's pricey (HK$1200 and up). Other than one guy who simply couldn't handle my endowment, I've always had fun with Joe's guys (even the disappointing guy made up for it with other skills). Time bar in Central is not bad. There are 2 bars in Sheung Wan near each other that have been fun in the past, but I forget the names. Central Escalator Sauna (CE for short) is where the foreigners, and the locals who like them, hang out (literally). I deleted my Grindr account after the 3rd 20-year old in a week asked me to take his virginity. The young ones are a lot of trouble, but I'm glad to have the opportunity if I want it!

 

Don't know much about China proper, however. Too many bad experiences to even bother with it. I go a lot for work, but go elsewhere to play. Foreigners tend to be treated like walking ATMs in many places- be careful. There are nice guys there, but a tourist doesn't have time or knowledge to filter out the scheisters. Overall, I can't figure out why anybody would even go to China with Thailand & the Philippines so close, so cheap and so much fun. Taiwan is a blast, as well- generally recognized as the best food in the Chinese world, and the people are known for being incredibly nice (they are). English is widely spoken, as well as Japanese.

I went to one of the "massage" places when I was in HK and had a pretty good time. Massage was OK. Happy ending was quite good. I don't recall how much I paid exactly but I do remember that they ripped me off by charging a fortune just for taking a shower (before and after). So if you go to a "spa" find out how much they are going to charge you for that, and maybe skip the pre-shower if you can.
