Feel free to list yours below. My number one choice would be ... Queenstown, New Zealand. The beauty of the scenery is simply S T U N N I N G !

The drive from Dunedin into Queenstown takes a few hours, but it's well worth it and you won't regret it, believe me. The scenery is unlike anything you've ever seen and vary from "WOW" to "Is that for real, dude?" then I forget to catch my breath and get tears in my eyes.

On second thought, I wouldn't simply visit, I would live there :-)

I've only been to Denver; have not been to the Colorado mountains yet. Therefore I don't have a basis for comparison with New Zealand.

As long as Belgium goes, thanks for the offer, Joey, but I prefer to keep my pied-à-terre in Brussels (at this time). :)

See you in Palm Springs in a few days.

I have 2 separate replies to this question:

First, I would (will) relocate from the Boston area to Palm Springs--an area that I fell in love with 3 years ago that is on my mind constantly.

Second, I would love to take a train voyage that would allow me to casually see much of the U.S. and stop to spend time with friends and learn about the areas they call home. This non-rush venture would take me to Vancouver where I would board the train and see the gorgeous scenery on the way to Toronto ( a city I have always wanted to see) and then on to Nova Scotia to explore the land my grandmother was born and raised. This is a goal to see the splendor of North America in a relaxws/non-rush way.

Yes, definitely - the Serengeti is wonderful to experience - it really is "morning in the world" there. The Okavanga delta is amazing too. And in spite of being touristy, the Taj mahal is the most serenely beautiful building I've ever seen. Then too, the view from the lounge at the Chateau Lake Louise is a jewel to be experienced.

I went to Halifax last summer just for the heck of it and was totally blown away. Besides the incredible beauty of Nova Scotia the people were so kind it was unreal. Heck, even their customs and security people were nice. Just make sure to double the amount of time you plan on spending there.

Things To Do & Places To Go Before You Die

Things to do.... Call a truce with Steven Draker. It's boring the other members on both sides and it's the adult thing to do. So as far as I'm concerned it's finished but if I am provoked with pictures and memes I won't respond and be the better man

Maybe it's time for the other party to list that as part of their things to do, if not, then just adhere to do it

And .... Please mods, no drama here, this is an olive branch and a well meaning one

I'd love to visit the island of Socotra, in Yemen, but I'm not sure how would go about getting there without risking one's life...
