I recorded the first 3 episodes of Kevin Bacon's new series, The Following, on Fox and just watched them. Terrific new show. Great characters and because it's Kevin Williamson (Dawson, Vampire Diaries) there are lots of hot guys including a gay couple (or are they?). Just when you thought the serial killer storyline was played out ....

Sadly, they killed off the very hot and ripped black cop in the 3rd episode. Why do they do stuff like that??? Sigh.

Wow. There's something you actually like.

Actually the list of things that I like is very, very long. But it's human nature to only pay attention to negative posts. When I post something positive, there's no response. Gosh, I wonder what that tells me? Could it be ... don't bother posting about something positive? Maybe.

I was not expecting that "The Following" would be worth watching, but am also finding that I am enjoying it. It almost seemed that the story was completely told as they neared the end of the first episode and then it went off in a direction that I hadn't anticipated. The gay subplot is twisted, but interesting. I'll keep watching, for now.

And, superficially, there are lots of hot guys! Bacon is terrific .... and he usually bores me ... I'll definitely keep watching. Want to see where this goes.

Just a few short years ago I watched very little TV but ... there is so much great stuff on TV right now ... that my DVR is very full and I barely find time to watch everything ...

Dexter, Homeland, Game of Thrones, Justified, Revenge, Downton Abbey, Strike Back, The Following, Boardwalk Empire, Vampire Diaries, Glee, etc. And then there's the UK stuff like The Paradise, Call the Midwife, Spooks and Waking the Dead (both of which just recently ended), Lewis, The Bletchley Park Circle, and on and on ...

An embarassment of riches ...

I'm enjoying the series too - and I like the fact that it's not predictable.

Looking forward to the return of The Walking Dead tomorrow & Southland on Wednesday. (Just when I've got my DVR down to 65%, lol.)

I forgot that The Walking Dead was back tonight. Can't wait. I now have DirectTV -- 1/3 the cost of my former cable -- and the DVR has 10 times the capacity of my old one. But I guess I have to re-set to catch Walking Dead.

Also, would never miss White Collar or Elementary or Hawaii Five O.
