Before Daddy yanks the soapbox from under me ;) I just wanted to take the time to say a few words while I might have a fraction of the forum's attention.

I can't articulate how surprised I am to actually win this award, because 2012 wasn't particulary the best year for me- mentally/emotionally. Physically, I'm in a great place right now- heavier(muscle) now then I've ever been, and fairly lucky to keep it shredded so easily. Sex wise, I'm into more than I've ever been! =) However, the wear and tear of being on the road so often in 2012 often led me to some weeks where I'd fall 'off the radar' screen, not answer my phone, and reach a bad boiling point. Wasn't healthy.

However, I can identify without a doubt some of the factors that turned it around for me. 1) The overwhelming support of clients who are actually closer and more constructive than my friends and family. You guys, with your texts and phone calls of encouragement, have really helped. I owe you guys a ton, for being there to understand. 2) Gotta Put this in bold. Rick Reynolds(Irish69 on this forum), my booking manager. Now, part of escorting is business, but truly successful escorts know how to give it a personalized touch- that 'connection' is what we are all going for, on both sides of the coin. Anyone can have a hole, a heartbeat, and a hard dick. You just have to bring more to the table than that. I found that answering the sheer volume of calls would burn me out inside, before I'd even begun seeing clients for the day. Having Rick in the picture to coordinate the logistics, and leave the fuckin' and suckin'(sorry to be so coarse; it's part of "me"...) to me, has given me the energy to make my sessions better, and REALLY improve on my body and quality of life. Owe you everything, Rick!

I also have to give a shout-out to my friend AJ Irons, who was one of the very first to reach out to me with congratulations for the award this year. To share in an award that has been stamped with your name, Drakker's, and so many other great escorts, is truly an honor for me. For those kind of congratulations to come from you made my entire day. You are the definition of the word 'class'.

So here's my thoughts for 2013. Oh fuck, I just signed a check today, 1/1/2012. Whoops.

1) Emergence of phone representatives, for travelling escorts. Dave at Man to Man clearly has a niche, as does David Forrest. For the escorts(like myself) who aren't so good at answering phone calls instantly, phone reps are an invaluable asset. And once a phone rep has gained the confidence of given clients...wouldn't it be easier for the same phone rep to simultaneously answer calls for several big named escorts? The degree of trust goes both ways- that phone rep now can vouch for the clients, and vice versa. I cannot stress enough how much of a difference this has made in my life, and is going to be great for 2013.

2) A self-policing industry. We, as escorts, should come to value clients, not prey upon them. The term 'hustle' disgusts me. It shouldn't be a game to see how much you can get out of someone, the measure isn't what you can take but instead should be on what you can GIVE. I hear stories day in and day out from clients, about how they've been robbed, deceived with pictures, stood up when they paid for hotels; you name it. If Escorts gave other escorts that they knew were con-artists hard times about their negative actions, it'd reduce alot of the bullshit. If someone in a given area is known to be a parasite, 10 different escorts giving him flak or sending him on wild goose chases, might cause him to rethink his actions. Also, if all the escorts mentioned Daddy's to EVERY single customer they met- whether they be from rentboy, rentmen, craigslist, plucked from a bar, etc- and stressed to them..."You are throwing your money away if it is on an unreviewed guy", you never know how it might change things.

3) Tristan's Travels- Although my website itself is in limited form(courtesy of a parasite, much like the ones described above- have had 4 different webmasters burn me after taking my money, and never build a thing)..I intend to get that going, as well as a new website...a travel blog dedicated solely to the travels I go on...and identifying bars/restaurants and activities that are LGBT friendly and things I think my fans and clients would enjoy. Also, will identify places that absolutely treated me like garbage, so that anyone following in the footsteps, won't make the same mistakes over. Given that I travel so much, I'm always a deal/bargain hunter...so it's my intention to assist anyone in travel / $-saving advice as well.

Hope you all have a great 2013, and I'll be posting a fresh resolution video shortly. Cannot thank you all again for your support, and having an open mind. Remember, I didn't begin universally loved on this board either...but people can make a turnaround, that's for sure. That's why my initial prediction for EoY 2013 would be Mark Dylan. Although he might have been clouded with some controvery as well, just like me, I think that he's starting to come into his element- and he's made alot of people(including some clients I count as friends and take their word as gold), very happy. That's my bet, don't let me down kid!

=P

Best of 2013 to all of you!

Tristan I want to applaud you for your insightful, thoughtful, and honest post. My thoughts for 2013 are very simple, and they reiterate much of what you have said regarding hiring un-reviewed escorts. First of all I never do anymore. I need a recommendation from somewhere. I can't tell how many times this forum has either made the hiring experience wonderful or saved me a boat load of cash.

I am also very happy that you enlisted the services of Rik. I know keeping up with the constant barrage of phone calls, text messages, emails, plus trying to arrange the logistics of all of that must have been a nightmare.

I know that he is not only a good manager, but a good friend, and like so many of your clients and friends that turned to help you when the going got tough, he is in it for the long haul. So there you have it folks, my shout out to Rik. I would also like to thank Marc Dylan also for hanging in there when things got a little rough around the forum. I bow to your tenacity, calmness, and thoughtful posts on such a delicate subject matter.

lastly I am so glad that you are ending this year on a positive note. Much luck and success to you in 2013.

Regards, BVB

I can only echo all the good that has been said and applaud Tristan for addressing and revealing some situations that he and many of us have had. I have know him at his best and only wish I could bottle some of his infectious enthusiasm and take a healthy dose for myself. He is a very special person to me on many plains. Congratulations Tristan. You deserve it this year.

Many Hugs-

PB

Congratulations, Tristan, although we have never met, I believe your honor is well deserved, based on what so many others have said whom I respect. Perhaps 2013 will be the year we meet. Again, congratulations and thanks for this straightforward post. It confirms that the honor does indeed belong to you. Best wishes for a fantastic 2013.

This is an award that you richly deserve. I have treasured the time we have spent together over the years and truly think you are a great guy. Through the ups and downs, you have always been a man of character and I know you will continue in this manner. Can't wait to run into you again down the road, take care of yourself my friend!

Since it'd take a long time and alot of posts to hit each and every one of you on here with thanks...instead, I wanted to thank you each individually and personally...so I did it in message form. With the exception of you Rick, you get a phone call. LOL. And you Val, since you don't accept messages. You just get a tongue! =)~~~~~
