End of February Theater Weekend

I'm considering a Broadway theater weekend toward the end of February and would appreciate any travel tips. I have always flown into Newark; is there any advantage to using the other two NYC airports? Are there any recommendations for affordable lodging in the greater Times Square area?

We've been over this topic a billion times, so I'd suggest a little reasearch on the forum to see what has been posted before.

 

Aside from Newark aidrport (only if your flying United) and Times Square (many, many choices) , there's not much to go on. Tell us what kind of theater you like. Drama, musical, Comedy? What is your hotel budget? You mentioned "affordable' but that doesn't exactly narrow it down. Etc. etc.

The Best Western Plus President Hotel went on Priceline for January dates at a price of $85. I paid $265 on Priceline to stay there this fall! It's all supply and demand.

The hotel is located in Times Square near theaters.
