My Queer

So I'm watching the Masters golf tournament on TV, and the announcer is talking about this golfer and calling him "My Queer." Well Bully for both of them I thought, though it seemed an odd subject for a sports broadcast. (OK, golf maybe isn't macho like pro football, but it isn't figure skating, either.)

 

Than a different announcer starts talking about "My Queer," and it turns out he's talking about the same golfer! Now this gets my attention, that two different announcers talk about the same guy as "My Queer." I wanna see this guy, he must be pretty hot. Well he was, in a way -- not terribly big in stature, but a nice ass (the camera always seemed to be behind him during his swing, by accident I'm sure) and a pleasant enough face. Apparently, he's doing well enough (on the golf course, that is) that he's leading the tournament, even if he's left-handed and Canadian.

 

But it does seem a bit over the top that everyone keeps calling him "My Queer."

I dont follow golf but I am sure you heard wrong. The guys name must sound something like "my queer". Probably Mike Geer or some such thing.

That's him. He's originally from Canada but now lives in Utah. He's married with at least one kid. Don't think he's queer but he's very easy on the eyes. ;-)

Well, at least not on this board most times. Seems like there are way too many here just waiting to dissect and attack every word someone posts, that the pun, play on words or a parody just goes right over their heads.
