The ballots went live today.

 

Each escort on rentboy has a ballot on the bottom right hand corner of the page.

 

Vote early and vote often in 17 categories such as best ass (which--shameless plug--I was nominated for last year), best personality and even this year Best Transsexual!

 

These are just the preliminaries, but these votes narrow down about 3,000 of the hottest guys in the world down to the top 6 in each category so they're really important.

 

Awards will be held Friday, March 22nd in NYC during Black Party/BPX weekend.

I would've thought so too, but I made it into the finals, so..... your guess is as good as mine. maybe the final winner is rigged.

 

yepp it's rigged. the whole thing is a bowl full of malarkey

 

they're only giving awards to guys who show up to the party. I know a gent who won two categories in one year and was knocked down to the lesser one when he didn't rsvp to the event. he was later told by rentboy brass that if he actually walked the red carpet, he would have gotten both awards that night

The results will provide the valuable data of who purchased the highest dollar value of ads, and then - in advance of knowing if they won - consented to do the string of post-award promo events etc. I like doubtless others know more than one, popular, who when presented with such irresistable offer has of course told rentboy to just go fuck themselves.

Vote? Oh Yeah..we all have our opions about "Best Buns" & "Purdiest Dick" etc! I'm sure whoever the Best Buns & Best Dick etc Winners are they will do all the "Working Guys" Proud!

 

They also get to Add Best Whatever in their AD which for some I'm sure is a Natural High!;)

Like I said, it's not a total fraud (IMO)

I've not done porn at all and apparently it's mostly the popular porn star guys who make it into the finals.

 

I got a nomination and it's been great regardless if I won or not.

 

Who knows, If you vote for your favorite guy enough times some kid who doesn't get but one or two clients a month could fill up a schedule with all the exposure.

Why don't you put a link to your Rentboy ad in the signature of your posts, then ask us to vote for you and in which category? Some will, some won't, but you might fill up your dance card, um, calendar.
