Need, Ft. Lauderdale update

HI, we will be traveling to Ft. Lauderdale the weekend of November 16th. We are very familiar with the area, but are looking for new things to do. Any new suggestions on food, bars, activity’s or escorts? I keep current on Johnny’s Boardwalk and Swinging Richards. Lately we always go to SW, Boardwalk has changed a lot in the last 2 years. We Love to see Adam when we are there, he really is top notch. We usually find Miami a waste of time. The only reason we really go there is for the Latin music. Anything in Miami worth the drive? After SW is Twist worth it?

I spend a lot of time in FTL. You are right, sadly BW has changed a lot, and not for the better. I have had my share of fun there, but for the most part heading down to SW is the place to be. Twist is worth the drive also, but I love to drink, so I will not drive there anymore. I always get a few friends together and we just hire a driver for the night. 3 or 4 friends sharing a Town car can be relatively inexpensive, and you will be guarantee a night of no drama.

 

I personally I love Brandan Steele. I have not hired Adam, but if memory serves me correctly, he has good reviews. Brandan, as been discussed on the forum many times, he is the ultimate professional and a perfect companion beyond the bedroom.

 

Sorry I could not offer more suggestions, but it sounds like you are familiar with the area, so nothing left to do but have some fun...good luck!

Hi, I've been going to Lauderdale more frequently primarily because as a northern in the closet gay guy I can be myself. Now, I'm not sure what the "fun" of Swinging Richard's is; I've had very much fun at Boardwalk and not too much a drive from FL. what is SW? I probably should know but I don't. I enjoy hanging out at the new Royal Palms; they have a nice daily

outside area with some fun people, not the night dancing crowd but fun.

You picked an a great place to hang out. The Royal Palm is amazing. All the staff and bartenders are phenomenal. SW is Swinging Richards. If you haven't been, it is much much better than the Boardwalk. It is very pricey, and a bit of a hustle, bit well worth the drive. I always go with friends and we hire a car and share the expense. If you drink, driving to Swinging Richards is NOT an option.

If you like spending time at the beach, you might want to check out Haulover Beach. It's a nude beach just north of Miami and the northern end of it is mostly gay. You can google it for directions & more information. I've been a couple of times and have enjoyed the, um, scenery.

If you are one that likes to stay out late, Torpedo can be fun after 2:00 am. When the other bars close the staff, bartenders and customers hit torpedo. I have picked up some hot guys there for some early morning fun. Just for buying them a drink or two.

 

BW was much improved when I was there in October but of course it can be hit or miss.
