I called a guy I saw an ad for on massagem4m. His page said he does incalls, and I scheduled an appointment. He told me to go to a certain high end hotel, and then send him a text. It was about an hour dive into town, but I was on time and texted when we had arranged. He told me to get a room and text him with the room number. I asked if the cost of the room would come out of the rate, and he said it would if I allowed him to keep the room for the night. If not, it was expected for me to provide a place. I told him that incall implied that he provides the place, and I wasn't prepared to cover the cost, and didn't feel comfortable leaving him with a hotel room under my name and credit card. He insisted, so I told him thanks for his time, but I wasn't going to keep the appointment. He then told me that he had turned down other appointments to meet with me, and I was expected to compensate his time. I just blocked his number, and drove home. When I later had the chance, I tried to look up his ad to write a review, but he was no longer available. I've never been asked to provide anyone with a hotel, and leave it in their care. Is this something new? I hope others don't take this route. Should I have acted differently?

Same as what the others said. He could trash the room, steal everything not pinned down, order room service up the wazoo and you would be charged for everything. Strange-most folks charge extra for an outcall. Incall is their place or hotel room-with an emphasis on theirs.

I second (fifth, sixth) that... Who on earth would leave his own hotel room with his CC info left at the desk to someone he does not even remotely know?! Looks like this guy was up to no good as they say... You did the right thing... especially with an attitude like the escort(?) had, who knows what would have happened....

You did well!

I wouldn't leave someone I didn't know and trust in a hotel room under my name

You should exercise caution even with people you know or think you can trust. Recently a client complained that he got a phone call from his bank for an exorbitant hotel charge on his credit card. He left the escort (he knew well) for an extra night, all by himself and the result was a huge dining bill for a large party (apparently all his friends) plus other various charges.
