Campaign to End Prostitution Gets Earful

The National Association of Attorney Generals and various women's groups are behind a plan to end prostitution by ending the demand. The idea would be to arrest the guys who want it, thus drying up the market. Sounds a bit like the War on Drugs and is as likely to succeed, but the effort could easily make troubles for men who are just doing what men have done for centuries- paying a willing seller for service to a willing buyer. There is certainly an abuse to be found, and that is the exploitation, even kidnapping of women who are forced to become sex workers. It's the horrors of that trade that are being used against sex work and sex consumers in general.
