Hi Guys,

 

I raised this question a year ago, got no useful info, and ended up postponing my trip due to an accident. So here goes again:

 

I'm finding nothing on the web regarding venues for action, either in Saigon or in Hanoi. I browsed Sticky Rice, Gay Guide, Utpia, Purple Dragon, etc.; nothing there about where to get some action (free or for pay). I also tried escort ebsites (RM, RB, Escupido, GR, Gaydar, others), and came up with meager results.

 

I'd appreciate any guidance you may offer.

I was in Vietnam a couple of years ago and didn't see much evidence of any scene. I was in Hanoi and some of the smaller central cities like Hue and Hoi An. (My trip was organized by Purple Dragon). You might want to pose you question on the Thailand gay forums. The folks there travel a fair bit in the region and probably have the best on the ground info.

The only online source for guys in Vietnam that I have found is GayRomeo. I have used it with success.

Fedsscor, I've registered in all three websites you had recommended, and await activation in order to pose my questions.

 

Cajun, I'm not sure how to use GR. There are no escorts listed. There are more than 120 users, but I'm not sure how to approach them. Since I'm 55 yo and boast no special attraction, I expect to pay for what I want. Is it ok to ask those whom I find attractive? Won't some of them find it insulting?? I'm unfamiliar with proper etiquette in these situations...
