It was great, my best friend lives in Bodrum, we've been close for over 20 years and I go out to see her 4 or 5 times a year on cheap flights and stay with her for a week or so. I do back to back escorting appointments 7 days a week so every 2 months I book myself a flight and have a week with my lovely friend.

 

I've been to quite a few places there, I love Istanbul, a huge, busy yet safe city. You can walk around the streets at 1am enjoying the culture and no one will accost or bother you in any way, unlike most western cities where you're simply not safe.
