Massage Spa in Los Angeles?

I may be visiting L.A. on business for a few days and was looking at the masseurfinder and came across this ad. Anyone experienced them-are they Ok? The prices seem to be on the low end-just wanted to check.

If memory serves, there has been some talk on this site about that facility, but I can't find it right now. "Spa's" like this typically are not what they advertise and are in questionable neighborhoods with staff that can be marginal at best. I am also very aware of the fact that these places are very much on the radar screens of the local law enforcement officials (just like adult book stores) and are much more subject to being raided than a reputable provider who has a stand-alone studio where he is able to screen clients and customers a bit more carefully. Also, I believe that the "opportunity" for entrapment is much greater at a "spa" than with a well reviewed and reputable independent provider.

A while back, there used to be a site (message board format) dedicated exclusively to masseurs and detailed feedback. The site no longer exists but I remember a thread discussing this massage place and it was pretty hit or miss, not very private, and no glowing reviews to speak of. I agree with Electra 225 that these places might be on the radar of LE. I don't know that to be fact, but it's just a perception I have about "massage parlors" whether they are M/F or M/M.

 

You didn't mention where in LA you're staying but I can recommend http://www.totalsmooth.com/. Their massage place is more of studio and they offer several other spa-type services. Not sure of your masseur preferences but they are latino, very easy on the eyes, and friendly. They're located in Silverlake (just east of Hollywood).

I have been to that massage spa many times. It's like any other asian spa. You do a lot of haggling, the rooms aren't that private. There are some good masseurs there, and one in particular that I have built an understanding with, but it is hit and miss if it's your first time. Once the staff gets to know you, it can be a great place. I go there when I don't want to spend a great deal of money but still want some Thai stretching and a little fun. It's one of the better ones in the area though. Some of the others are truly scary...and as a previous poster said, in awful areas. If you want more info, feel free to toss me a PM.

Thanks for the feedback. My business is in the Torrance area, haven't decided where I will be staying yet. But I guess the prices seemed to pull me in-I guess I might skip it and find some one better reviewed. East2West, I will check out the Totalsmooth site. I have a long flight and so would like a nice massage and some fun would not be bad-though not looking for an escort experience(my escort budget is blown at least for a few months!)

 

Any feedback on these two ?

As for Patrick from Masseurfinders, he as been around awhile. I know a guy that used him and thought that he was terrific. At my friends recommendation I decided to book him. I sent a couple of emails, but in the second one I asked a question about his services, that in all fairness was posted clearly in his ad. For whatever reason, I didn't see the information. His return email said something to the effect that "before I bother him with endless emails, I should to read more carefully"

Needless to say, I passed on him.

 

And for the record, where he says in part two of the massage, he sits 'doggy style' over you, all that is true. He apparently loves to get rimmed....

My friend went to them and said that the boy was cute and the massage was decent, but when it came to the erotic part, they position themselves around the table so that you can not touch them....I passed.
