My old hometown and the surrounding area is being hit hard now on the anniversary of Katrina. Not a good picture. No way to concentrate on Southern Decadence party this weekend. My flight was cancelled and the airport is closed until further notice. Thank God it is , "only," a category 1 storm but the fact that it has stalled is devastating for the flood potential in the city.

Poor Jim Cantore looked like he was in a car wash on the Weather Channel video this morning.

Mikey as always, you have my prayers and good wishes for 'Nola'.........I have been watching CNN since late yesterday. The 'Cat 1' has turned out to be more devastating than originally thought. I know flooding is the biggest concern. It is taking its toll. Prayers go out to 'robber' as well, as I know that he has many acquaintances in that area, and any of our Forum members that are in the middle of this. We will check in with you later. We hope only the best for and hope that your friends come out of this unscathed.
