New Yorkers with Asthma please read

I know this is a strange place to ask, but here goes:

 

My partner has chronic cough brought on by asthma. We are looking for a pulmonary doctor is New York City. He's seen a few that have seemed to have their heads up their asses (specialists in New York are known for this).

 

If there is someone out there with chronic cough or asthma and can refer us to a good doctor in New York City that would be great.

 

If you know of someone that is really excellent in the entire U.S. that would be worth travelling to, that would be cool as well. Either post here, or drop me an email.
